pump.fun, read line by line.
We read pumpfun-source, lalalune's community reconstruction of pump.fun's public programs. Then we re-implemented the mechanic on Raydium. We are not pump.fun and not partnered with it, and none of its code runs here.
The global boost authority spends a pool's boost vault: it prices a buy against the graduated pool and burns those tokens from the pool's base reserve, in one instruction.
Your wallet buys on the LaunchLab curve (buy_exact_out) and burns that exact amount with the SPL Token program, in one transaction. Anyone can sign it, for any live curve coin.
Seeds the vault from the pool: base x quote / 10^15 moves from the pool's quote reserve to the boost vault, once, when the pool authority calls it.
There is no vault to seed. The SOL comes from your wallet, or from the creator fee vault, at the moment you sign.
An admin flag, boost_enabled. With it off, boost_buy_and_burn fails.
No switch. Nobody here can turn it off, and Raydium's program does not know Boost exists.
The slippage floor on boost_buy_and_burn: the instruction fails if it would burn less.
The other way round: the burn amount is fixed first, with 0.5% room off the quote, and the SOL you entered is the ceiling. Too far off and the whole transaction fails.
Logs each burn, with quote_amount_in_used and base_amount_burned.
Each boost carries a memo and this pad's reference key. /burns reads the burned amount back from the transaction's own burn instruction. No database.
A fee vault per index, with an authority, total_claimed, last_claimed and claim_rate_limit.
LaunchLab's creator fee vault. It is one per creator wallet, across all its coins.
The vault authority sweeps the vault to a destination it names.
boost({ useCreatorFees: true }) claims the creator's whole vault and spends it on the curve buy in the same transaction. Only that coin's creator can sign it.
Raydium's program
Prices the curve, takes the fees (protocol 0.25%, platform 0.75%, creator 0.05%), keeps one creator vault per wallet, and graduates a coin into a CPMM pool at 85 SOL.
The signed transaction
Buy and burn are in one transaction, so both land or neither does. The burn is an SPL Token burn: the mint's supply goes down, and 1B minus that supply is checkable by anyone.
Someone pressing the button
Nothing burns by itself. pump.fun's program runs Boost from a vault with its own authority. Here a person signs each boost, and a creator's fees only burn when that creator signs.
